Volunteer
Before reading through this list of job descriptions let's discuss the human aspect of filling a volunteer role. There is a learning curve, albeit an exciting one for most of us. The only pressure around performance will be that which you exert on yourself. There is a patient supportive team available for assistance in whatever way it is needed. If one team member is unable to address a situation, a team member who can will be sought.
For the most part, (within the confines of being human and fallible) we work without attaching ourselves to outcome. If a volunteer discovers themselves unable to meet a commitment it is as simple as saying such. We are organizing ourselves around the principle of oneness...what works best for you is what will be best for the good of the whole.
We would also like to mention that the descriptions below are guidelines, each person who currently holds a stewardship role with HT Canada brings to their role their own special skills, passions, and personality. If you are considering stepping up to be the change you wish to see by volunteering for a stewardship role with HT Canada, we invite you to share with us your own vision for the role you see yourself in.
