Everyday comes and goes with some regularity in most
of our lives. We find a comfort zone, and they can be uncomfortable zones, and
we'll stick to them as if our very life depended on it. Sometimes, it takes
trauma and disaster to awaken us to our complacency. Years ago I discovered that
I could circumvent disaster with some introspection. Humanity's team gathers
together those of us whose introspective work has led them to realize we are the
change. We can energetically support and work for the good of the whole, or not.
Sometimes, it seems, enough...no more, leave me alone! The truth of our times
inundates us with a frenzy of information that saps our energies and confuses
and saddens our hearts. The antidote is so simple it's easy to miss. What you
resist persists. Let the world go. Being the change isn't just a metaphor, it's
smiling when we don't feel like it, it's helping when we're tired, it's standing
when feet ache. It's accepting what we can't change, and working to change what
we can. Little, tiny steps lead to the top of mountains where we are each
pioneers.
Joining hands as pioneers in the growing circle of Humanity's team around the world we journey as one. Our
energies are building a wave of healing through the growing container of trust
within and without ourselves. We urge you to follow the links. In linking
together as a chorus we are learning together "what we as one" looks and acts
like. When you realize that you are the one person who can make a difference, join Humanity's Team, and Be the Change.
Dear Teammates,
Living in Alberta, I sometimes forget that Canada is a bilingual country.
This is silly, and the fact that my mom was born in Montreal and raised in a
French household makes it even sillier. The bulk of our work in Humanity's Team
at the world-wide level is conducted in English, and the bulk of our work in HT Canada has been conducted in English as well. A series of
recent events has caused me to realize that we are not communicating effectively
(or at all) with our French speaking teammates.
My intention is to work more closely with our brothers and sisters in Quebec,
and in order for me (us) to do this effectively, we are putting out a call for
bilingual teammates to join us in our work. Specifically, we desire to have a
bilingual coordinator for the province of Quebec, as well as a team of
translators who can assist in translating our communications (newsletters,
web-sites, etc) to our teammates. If you feel the call to step up and be the
change in this way or you would like to know more about these volunteer
opportunities, I invite you to email me directly at tanya@humanitysteamcanada.com -
I am so looking forward to hearing from you!
I would also like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to Helen Layton who has stepped
into the BC Provincial Coordinator role and to Janine Cantin who has taken on
the Prison Light Coordinator Role. Two more fabulous teammates who have chosen
to express their Being the change they wish to see by working with us. Welcome
Janine and Helen, we are so grateful you are both here, with us, in this very
moment.
With much love,
Tanya Dixon

May 2006 Humanity's Team & Faith in the Rockies Presents & Hosts a weekend retreat with Neale Donald WalschA Special Invitation From Neale Donald Walsch... My Dear Friends,
I wonder if you would like to sit down with me and talk in person about how
we can change our lives and change our world. I will be doing just that with a
group of interested and dedicated people this coming May at a weekend retreat in Canmore. When we are together we'll look at
how we can apply the extraordinary messages of Conversations with God to our
every day experience, and how we can use those messages to help heal our global
community. I really believe that there IS something that we can all do about our
worldwide situation, notwithstanding that the Conversations with God books says
that there is nothing we have to do. Of course, nothing we have to do, and being
the change we wish to see in the world, are not mutually exclusive. I do know
for a fact that Conversations with God can and will change any person's
individual life. Let's look at all of this together. Join me in May!
We can get out of this mess, and here's how. We have
to use the same method that got us into it.
Humanity's collective reality - its cultural story, if you please - has been
created over a period of many, many years through a three - step process. This
process goes on to this very day. It looks like this:
Everything begins with the original information. Even those people who do not
"believe in God" are affected by the ideas about God held by those who do. This
is so because (a) there are many more people creating the common culture
worldwide who do believe in some sort of God than who do not, and (b) all
societies are built on laws and customs rooted in the sacred myths and cultural
stories of the society's ancestors.
While everything begins with the original information, it is that very
information that too few have chosen to question - even if the information is
producing a disaster. We simply refuse to question our most basic assumptions
and our most basic beliefs. Thus, humanity has for centuries tried to solve its
problems at every level except the level at which the problems exist. It
continues to do so today.
We approach our problems as if they were political problems, open to
political solutions. We talk about them, we hold debates about them, we pass
resolutions about them. When nothing changes, we seek to solve our problems
through economic means. We throw money at them, or withhold money from them, as
in the case of sanctions. When that fails, we say, Aha, this is a problem to
give to the military. We'll solve it with force. So we drop bombs on it. That
never works either, if a long term solution is what anyone is looking for, but
do you think we would learn?
Naw, we just start the cycle all over again.
The reason we keep running and getting nowhere "like a mouse on a wheel" is
that no one dares to look at the cause of the ongoing condition we seem fated to
endure. Either we truly don't know, or we are afraid to admit, that our biggest
problem today is not a political problem, it's not an economic problem, it's not
a military problem.
"The problem facing humanity today is a spiritual problem."
Once this is understood, the solution becomes obvious. Until it's understood,
the solution escapes everyone.
It's what people believe that creates their behavior. Therefore it is at the
level of belief, not at the level of behavior, where behavior can most
profoundly be modified. For decades we've been talking in psychology circles
about behavior modification, or Behavior Mod. What we really should be talking
about is Belief Mod.
Ah, but here we go. Oh, boy. Watch out. We're talking now about the most
sacred part of people's underpinnings. Many people would rather die for their
beliefs - or kill others - than change them.
It doesn't matter whether the beliefs are functional. That is, whether they
are working, in the sense of making people happy and producing a better life.
Many people would rather be unhappy doing what they believe than happy doing
something else. They are actually happy being unhappy. Under this convention, as
I have already pointed out, suffering is a virtue.
What makes this unlikely scenario possible? It's quite simple. People will
allow themselves to be unhappy, they will even kill themselves with bombs
strapped to their chests, or seated in the cockpit of airlines, if they think
they are doing What God Wants.
They do think that, of course, and they are part of a large number of people
in our world who hold an inaccurate belief about God.
Part of the problem that exists at the level of belief - and this is
something that no one wants to say out loud, but that must be said, - is that
the world thinks that God condones violence as a means of conflict resolution.
Indeed, it is from the written accounts in the Bible, in the Qur'an, in the
Bhagavad Gita, in the Book of Mormon, and in other scriptures, that many people
of many faiths draw the moral authority for their actions, and that every school
child of every culture learns about the Wrath of God.
Of course, there is no such thing as the Wrath of God. It's one of humanity's
false beliefs. But many humans think that there is such a thing. They also think
that it's appropriate for us to act with each other in the same way that God
acts with us. After all, if we can't use God as our model, who can we use?

Humanity's Team is a grassroots "civil rights
movement for the soul". We know we have to start with one person and continually
grow to gradually include all people, in sharing the wonderful message that "We
are all one". That one person was, and is, Neale Donald Walsch, as many of you
know. All Neale's Conversations with God writings have conveyed that message.
Now it's our job to spread the message.
To date, Humanity's Team Canada is 1100 teammates strong and growing each
week by inspired and willing people who have chosen to re-create our collective
global experience into a more loving & accepting world. Congratulations
Canada!
The cross section of Humanity's team from around the world that I have had
the honour and privilege of working with to date share many common
characteristics. Integrity, passion, creativeness and willingness to form a team
guided always through transparency is found consistently among this diverse
group of people. From every walk of life, with cutting edge life skills to
contribute, these team mates boggle the mind while feeding the soul.

Hello again Everyone!
Part of last months newsletter update was an outline of the first priority of
the creation of a children's spiritual retreat program so children can accompany
adults to HT retreats/gatherings, as well promoted for use in local HT groups
and meetings. This month is an update on how that is progressing for the
presentation for the first one at "Faith in the Rockies" event in Canmore in May. I am delighted
to say others have come forward to join in this process, and as we know the more
ideas and input we have, the more complete and well rounded the program will be.
There is a standing invitation for everyone/anyone to take contribute with ideas
and source material, just send me an email.
It is important to say at this point the HT kids program is aimed for 5 to 12
year olds, but things are in the works for looking at a youth program as well
for teenagers and young adults. In Canmore ages 2 and up are accepted as
volunteer caregivers will be there for the younger children. They will be
integrated with the program as much as possible.
HT kids Gathering Ideals: With this as a starting point, we began our search for material. Two
wonderful sources have come up, along with stories and music. More music is
needed, as well as meditation techniques for children so I invite anyone to
input on that for us.
The source I will write about today is a book called:
By Jeff Goelitz I came upon this book in a bargain bin and the bookstore during a time I had been specifically trying to design a " mirroring" activity for the childrens spiritual gathering program . When I flipped it open- there was an activity for children called mirroring! That synchronicity was not lost on me, and I closed the book and bought it immediately. That was only the beginning of the exciting things found within, all of which I believe can be used a firm basis for developing the " whole" child in a total education system Written in 1986, Jeff Goelitz M.Ed. was at the time a faculty member of the Consciousness Research Institute in California, and co-creator of an innovative and successful private school. His book is now out of print, but can be found used. A search on the internet found Jeff is now program director for the non profit Institute of "Heartmath " ( a topic for a future edition of the newsletter). Jeff describes himself as one who sees the " whole being" when he looks at a child, and wrote "The Ultimate Kid" to respond to children's needs at all levels of their being. He feels academics must be accompanied by learning how to express and understand feelings, developing social skills, listening to the guiding voice of their own intuition and enjoying the creativity of an open imagination. He recognizes different levels of consciousness within individuals and the effect on learning and emotions. The book is formatted as practical activities that help develop the total child (ages 5 to 13), divided into seven domains of learning. These are sensory, social, intellectual, emotional, conceptual, intuitive and imaginative. Many of these chosen activities emphasize skills not currently recognized in traditional schools, and which naturally incorporate the acceptance of the tri part spiritual nature of children. The following are two example sections ( in summary). Intuition:
"Intuition is the least recognized and valued skill we are capable of developing. Intangible and hard to measure, it is a quiet tool that knows without knowing how it knows. Intuition comes when the mind is still. Insights and perceptions of reality then appear, filling the space left by the vacating mind. The tendency in out society is to occupy the mind with as much chatter as possible ( TV, radio. gossip, media stories) and more to fill the mind to the brim. A consequence is that we lose sensitivity to others and to our own quiet intelligence or intuition. Our ability to make decisions, to see into the future, and to perceive deeper levels of reality becomes impaired. We can do a wonderful service to our children by providing for them the opportunity to further develop their intuitional skills. In doing so, we equip them with a tool they can use the rest of their lives." This section is them goes on to outline practical activities in step by step format for children, that can be used to train the children in intuitive skills with activities such as super-sensing, deciding Yes or No, Truth telling, Seeing into the future and learning a technique used in ancient Greece called the Delhi Oracle. Sense of Security/Emotions
"We do not give out hearts enough attention in everyday lives, and identify with our minds and daily activity. Although we pay no mind to the calls of the heart, we are none the less moved and motivated by it. To grow, we must explore and know out hearts ( the feeling self is who we are) , starting with children. Children are still in touch with their feeling selves, and we need to elicit and support heartfelt responses for self exploration. Nature holds a key to unfolding the heart, as it gives freely with no asking in return. If we understand the beauty and radiance of nature, we will in turn reinforce those qualities in ourselves and children." This chapter then goes on to easy to use activities in caring, energy awareness, exploring nature, feelings, and trust. These is just two of seven chapters devoted to education of " the whole being" of children. Each and every chapter is unique and valuable, and HT kids will be providing the activities from this in children's spiritual retreat programs( beginning with Faith in the Rockies) as part of our HT kids program. I encourage all to use this book as part and parcel of our approach to educational goals, starting in the short term with retreats and HTgroup meetings and parents at home. Exciting stuff!! That's it for this month, and thank you. Love and LIFE. Canadian Education and Innerworks Co-ordinator
By Many of us as children live with vivid imaginations, hopes and dreams of what we’d like to do or become when we grow up. But somewhere along the lines our belief in our dreams begin to diminish as we are told they are silly or unrealistic. Over time we lose sight of what once made us feel alive and our dreams become buried so deep under other people’s expectations of us we forget they even existed. Surprisingly even countless successful people live in this illusion. You know them, perhaps you are even one of them. To everyone else it appears like they have great jobs, earn lots of money, and it may seem like they are perfectly suited to their career. Yet if you ask them if they are happy they may likely tell you they don’t feel fulfilled in their chosen profession. An integral piece is missing. They have lost touch with their passions and feel out of alignment with their purpose in life. Being disconnected from our Spirit manifests imbalances in many areas of our life. Chronic feelings of anger, stress, fearfulness, easily upset or emotional outbursts can be signs of being out of synch with your soul purpose or passion. Restlessness, jealousy, poor time management, procrastination, depression, and pushing one self too hard to achieve are other signals to watch. Without questioning the deeper meaning in our lives many people mistakenly believe letting go and moving on to something else is the answer. It isn’t. That feeling of emptiness or disconnection will follow us wherever we go, unless we ask the most important fundamental questions there are. What do I want? What makes me feel alive? To assist you in determining the answer to these questions think about moments in your life when you were happiest. When what you were doing gave you joy and confidence. Every time we think we have the answer, ask it again, and again until it makes our pulse quicken and stirs something so deep inside we know with absolute certainty we can no longer live without it. Then we have touched our uniqueness, our purpose for BEing. It can be the most significant moment of our lives. The reason for asking the questions over repeatedly is to ensure that we move past what our ego believes we are meant to do, discover our Truth, and then live it without doubt. Of course, that’s just the beginning of our journey for healing and rediscovery. For some it may mean a whole new direction in their lives, for others perhaps just a few minor tweaks here and there, adding their new perspective or level of consciousness to their existing circumstances will create the fulfillment necessary. Abandoning the current situation altogether may not be the answer. Finding the right balance is the key but in all cases it will take careful thought and planning to integrate these dreams throughout the various areas of our lives. Our quest is to connect not only to our soul but also to the world, creating a life of meaning. In years past, I often dreamed of disappearing to a cabin in the woods. Living a life separate from chaos in peace and simplicity. But where would be the challenge to grow and blossom into the wonderful people we are meant to be? No, the answer is not hiding ourselves in solitaire but to discover our uniqueness, share our gifts with the world, and live a happy, limitless and fulfilling life. As Neale Donald Walsch says in his books Conversations with God1, create yourself "in the next grandest version of the greatest vision ever you held about who you are." Throughout this process you must learn to master the ability to listen to yourself first and last. Most people have gotten into the habit of listening to others in determining what we will do, what we like or dislike, and how we to respond to external factors. Checking in with yourself first is a skill that requires patience and time to develop as it means rewiring the way we think and act but it can be done with constant monitoring of how we feel physically and emotionally. How do we know if it’s our soul purpose or our ego in the driver’s seat? It’s easy to detect but not always easy to accept and change if our ego is ruling. We will feel fulfilled, at peace, and joy will permeate our existence if we are in alignment with our Spirit. Everything we do will flow without resistance. The universe will support us in our endeavors and provide us with opportunities to heal what needs to be healed and learn the necessary skills to carry us forward. On the other hand if fame, fortune, power, and the need for approval is motivating us, check in with ego and bring it in balance with soul to avoid straying away from our path and coming up against unwanted struggles. Thankfully though, it’s not necessary to abandon our ego altogether. Janet Amare says it nicely in her book Soul Purpose2, "The better we are able to harness the power of both the ego and the soul, and act on the inspiration of both, the closer we will be to our true purpose." There is so much life to live. Feel the burning fires inside and give up the fears within. Take a chance. Surrender to your dreams and let the familiar solid ground beneath your feet transform into a fluid unknown force capable of letting you soar to unbelievable heights on the wings of Angels. Hold your dreams in your arms, nurture them, and don’t let them go. Your soul, your dreams and your purpose are the reasons you exist. Make a commitment to discover your dreams. Right here. Right now. There is no better time. Listen to the stirring in your blood-Spirit is calling to you, my friends. References Cited: Walsch, Neale Donald. Conversations with God: Books 1-3. Dear Humanity’s Team Mates in Canada and our Team
Mate world wide audience,
I'd like to share some thoughts on the practical application of ONENESS. How
does one apply Oneness in everyday interactions? To me Oneness means treating
with respect everyone who I meet without exception, whether it is the grocery
clerk, someone on the street or a waiter or waitress. Anyone who works in the
service industry, and that is just one example, needs to be treated
respectfully. Oneness is the recognition that we may all have different skills
and jobs, but that we are all united in Spirit and everyONE in God’s eyes is of
equal value. How we react with people says more about us that anything else.
If there is an opportunity to address people by their first name while they
provide service to you, do so. When I have the opportunity I also use humour or
change a popular saying which is generally considered negative to a positive
meaning, for instance "I am fed up" for me is another way of explaining that I
have had enough to eat-of course I always explain so it is not taken in the
usual way. My objective is to bring a little sunshine or a smile to people that
may happen infrequently in their workplaces..
Love, His name is Bill. He has wild hair, wears a t-shirt with holes in it, jeans, and no shoes. This was literally his wardrobe for his entire four years of university. He is brilliant, kind of esoteric and very, very bright. He became a Christian while attending university. Across the street from the campus is a well-dressed, very conservative church. They want to develop a ministry to the students, but are not sure how to go about it. One day Bill decides to go there. He walks in with no shoes, jeans, his t-shirt, and wild hair. The service has already started and so Bill starts down the aisle looking for a seat. The church is completely packed and he can’t find a seat. By now, people are really looking a bit uncomfortable, but no one says anything. Bill gets closer and closer to the pulpit, and when he realizes there are no seats, he just squats down right on the carpet. (Although perfectly acceptable behaviour at a university fellowship, this had never happened in this church before!) By now the people are really uptight, and the tension in the air is thick. About this time, the minister realizes that from way at the back of the church, a deacon is slowly making his way towards Bill. Now the deacon is in his eighties, and has silver-grey hair, and wears a three piece suit. He is a godly man, very elegant, very dignified and very courtly. He walks with a cane and, as he starts walking towards this boy, everyone is saying to themselves that you can’t blame him for what he’s going to do. How can you expect a man of his age and of his background to understand some university kid on the floor? It takes a long time for the man to reach the boy. The church is utterly silent except for the clicking of the man’s cane. All eyes are focused on him. You can’t even hear anyone breathing. The minister can’t even preach the sermon until the deacon does what he has to do. And now they see this elderly man drop his cane on the floor. With great difficulty, he lowers himself and sits down next to Bill and worships with him so he won’t be alone. Everyone chokes up with emotion. When the minister gains control, he says, "What I’m about to preach, you will never remember. What you have just seen, you will never forget. Be careful how you live. You may be the only "Bible" some people will ever read." -Used with permission from number 56, May 2002 "The Messenger, News of the Great Tomorrow"
Beloved ones,
In September 2005 I put down Tomorrow's God by NDW, went to my computer,
found and joined Humanity's Team. After ten years of reading Neale's material,
I realized that if God and he said, "follow up the Humanity's team idea", who
was I to question? On my first visit to an online chat site, I worked up the
courage to post a hello on the HTUS Forum. Within the next day or two, Hurricane Katrina hit.
I wrote a prayer that day, and posted it to the Forum.
Almost immediately a woman named Tanya sent me a beautiful support email
asking if she could pass my prayer around to Humanity's Team Canada. I was delighted and told her that I
didn't know a writer who didn't want people reading their thoughts. It was a
prayer as well, the more people who joined in consciously supporting that prayer
the more effective it would be.
Within less than two weeks of becoming a team mate Tanya asked if I would be
interested in taking on the B.C. Coordinating role within HT Canada. Her exact
words were, "my instincts tell me". I was willing to follow those instincts and
told her as much.
Within a day or two of accepting the B.C. Coord. role I received my first
team mate request. Helen Layton was a heaven send. I wasn't quite sure how I was
going to go about gathering a team together, but the support emails Helen and I
shared gave me an idea. There was no way for me to have meetings on the ground,
but I could try to generate a sense of oneness.
The first B.C. team mate update went out in October 10th. I was very shy. I
received over twenty wonderful supportive replies. I grew out of my shyness and
shared my sense of oneness by sharing my personal life journey within HT and
without. I sent out my last "naked" bio update to the whole team as a result of
a dialogue with Helen. The next B.C. Provincial Coordinator update will be an
introductory bio from Helen to you. She has accepted the call to "be the change"
and I am joy filled at being able to share her with more of Humanity's team.
My heart is full with eternal gratitude for all the fine people who have
taken time to read my updates. My heart is full with gratitude at having the
opportunity to "be the change". I've discovered that being the change was as
simple as working up the courage to be myself.
I am moving into more Humanity's team work in WorldWide TeamCare initiatives
meant to stream line the entry process for team mates everywhere. I was drawn to
answer the call to work on the world wide team care initiative. The naked bio
initiative worked to such good effect within our HT Canada coreteam to create a
strong, loving, trusting container that HT Canada is now a leading light for
teams around the world. My dream is that every man, woman and child on this
planet feels safe enough and loved enough to be able to share their nakedness
with the person next to them.
Passing the torch means being able to concentrate on the other love of my
love, writing. The Northern Light is a gift from our God to me. Since I was a
teenager I have had dreams of myself as a writer. Who knew that thirty years of
writing within the context of a personal journal would hone the communication
skills so necessary for Humanity's team to grow and understand ourselves with.
When I accepted the newsletter coordinating role I was honoured. Now I'm
attached to this lovely example of outreach work and my intentions are to spend
a year within my role as newsletter coordinator.
Helen is bringing years of
experience and talents and new ideas to our team building that I know will be a
wonder to behold. Join me in welcoming her.
Sending heaps of peace and tons of love to you and yours,
Anne Cressy
It is my belief that we come to this life to connect
with one another. One of the most beautiful and meaningful connections I’ve ever
made was with prisoners. I recognized people whom, on the face of it, I have
nothing in common with. People who have lived lives so very different from mine;
people who make so very different choices. I looked into their eyes and I saw
myself. I saw my Self. And I knew, without a doubt, without a question or
hesitation that We Really Are All One.
It is one of the most beautiful gifts I have ever received.
Freedom Inside is a newsletter with the mission to continue and extend this
connection, this gift. It is based on the CwG material and is written mostly by
and for prisoners. It is a medium through which people can exchange stories,
comments, questions and answers about how to apply the new spirituality to their
everyday lives whether in or out of prison.
It is sent free of charge to any prisoner interested in receiving it.
Please join us in our connection.
With love and peace, Freedom Inside

The other day I asked the question
"Am I feeling the sense that I am not in control" and before that thought had
registered in my mind Spirit was back in a flash – " You never have been".
I laughed out loud at the thought that we are so confident that we are
running our lives when in fact we are not. We are either allowing Spirit in to
guide us or our sub conscious ego is in charge. On the surface this appears to
set up a battleground between Spirit and ego and here I feel we need to be most
cautious.
The last two books I have read have left me with the aftertaste that ego is
undesirable. They were The Power of Intention by Eckhart Tolle and The Power of
Intention by Wayne Dyer. Always remember that ego is a part of who we are and if
we have our problems with it then we need to bring love, forgiveness, patience
and understanding to the situation. To offer resistance in place of love creates
separation, the very arena in which ego thrives. Whilst we may focus on healing
that part of ego that challenges us remember that the ego is a creature of habit
and also learned to do things that are synergistic with Spirit.
As I delve further into the challenging world of ego it is my current thought
that no matter how much healing and forgiveness we go through, how much the
inner child is healed, the ego remains with its vision and energy intact,
although our attention may have made it quite dormant. It remains for us to be
on guard for its return.
It is for our conscious mind to be aware and choose who will control our
life. This, to me, is the point of human power and where our conscious mind can
serve us best. Turning our life over to Spirit is the greatest gift we can give
to ourselves. This is choosing love over fear.
God is with us every moment of every day, He loves us and we would be wise to
align ourselves with that love.
"Your soul seeks the highest feeling. It seeks to experience - to be perfect
love." We do need to focus our intention and at times go into action, although
sometimes opportunity simply knocks in the form of a phone call or e-mail
without any seeming effort.
When we experience and FEEL that moment of perfect love the outcome of
anything no longer seems to matter. In that moment we have chosen Spirit as our
guide. Forever seek this wonderful place of being while at the same time seeking
to understand and embrace ego, for it can be a great teacher. In fact, my
current line of thought suspects that Spirit sometimes co-operates with ego’s
agenda to seek a long term goal and lets us sink into difficulty to get our
attention. And we wonder why we feel confused at times.
We each have our own interpretation of God, of Spirit, that is the beauty of
our spiritual movement. In similar manner we have our own view of ego and mine
is changing as I delve deeper and discuss the subject with others. My thoughts
are shared in the hope it will help you further redefine ego for yourself and
that you will see it as part of you and to be embraced, not resisted.
Namasté.

Sheila Wardman here with a share regarding the Indigo Evolution and a
request.
I took my family to see the Indigo Evolution movie on Sunday in Kelowna. I
loved the movie and enjoyed the variety of children who spoke and sang in the
movie. I shed several tears as I always do when something moves me this much.
These children have amazing wisdom and gifts to share. The art and music was
incredible! Hard to believe a ten year old could unfold art work of this nature,
yet not so hard to believe when you really allow yourself to be present with
children. I have a seven year old son Ben and a nine year old daughter Miranda.
I watched their expressions with joy as they too saw the magnificence in the
works of the children. I asked Ben after the movie: What is an indigo? His
reply: An indigo is a child that can heal people and knows god!
I listened to other parents in the movie recounting stories their youngsters
had told them so clearly and in such perfect detail no one could question their
validity. I realized mine too have this wisdom.
When Ben was between four and five he was at our eating bar waiting for his
pancake breakfast. Out of the blue he recited John 3:16 word for word. Now, for
a well schooled church going child maybe that would be expected but Ben had been
to Sunday school three times. I was helping there and participating so I knew
they did not practice this verse in detail.....how could he know it??? I asked
Ben where did you learn that??? He just knew it was his answer and he proceeded
to tell me he talks to God frequently. I was quite amazed. I shared this with
some of the neighbors and the next time at Sunday school he was asked to share
it with the minister. He recited it once again. Everyone started to ask him to
recite John 3:16. He stopped doing it eventually.....he'd had enough attention
and wasn't interested in being a show I guess.
Just recently I overheard Ben talking with his sister at the eating bar
again. I was in my office above them and could clearly hear the conversation.
Ben said to Miranda, "In 1942 I was picked up by aliens, they took me to see the
milky way Miranda, it was so cool!" Then he asked her have you ever been to the
milky Way Miranda? "Not that I can remember," was her response. Ben then replied
that his trip wasn't in this lifetime here, right now. They spoke to each other
in such seriousness I was totally taken back by this. I stopped what I was doing
and went downstairs. I asked Ben to tell me more about the milky way, it sounds
so interesting! He gave me the look....Yah right Mom........as if, obviously I
was not serious enough about it. He would not elaborate further.
What I have learned is to Be present with your children when your with them,
be open to anything they have to share, Love them and learn from them, be open
to the gifts they have to bestow on to you and others, there's magic
happening...EMBRACE IT!
With that said I would like to request that Humanity's Team sell merchandise
such as the Indigo/Indigo Evolution movie, What the bleep, Down the rabbit Hole,
The Celestine Prophecy the soundtrack from Indigo Evolution. I would like to buy
these things through HT as well we could take on bringing these movies to our
areas and marketing them to raise funds for HT if there are groups interested.
Let me know if you like this idea.
Love and Cheers!
